Personality

Johanna comes across as very serious and harsh, but is good humored once she knows someone can handle her cynical attitude and honesty. She only occasionally forsakes her reserved side in favor of obscenity for her own amusement. When others can earn her trust she is immensely loyal and caring, even if it doesn't show. Since her only immediate judge of character is tone of voice she is an acute listener and very critical about how others handle their emotions. In old age she prefers to steer clear from political matters, and doesn't have a true allegiance to anyone. Her duties and research are now bound to the earth. Johanna is a very well educated in sciences, and can identify any plant by touch alone.

APPEARANCE

Johanna is completely blind, and her eyes developed clouded lenses because of it. Most of the time she will tell people she has never been able to see to avoid talking about it. Her wardrobe is filled with skirts, blouses or cloaks in various shades of green. During her field work tending to gardens or focusing on studies she prefers high waisted pants, tunics, and floral cloche hats that she crafts occasionally.
